Recently watching interview video of Warren Buffet. The interviewer ask WB that if there is one tip which he would like to give to young people which will help them in their life. WB said, everyone should work on their communication skills, both verbal and written. Whatever profession you choose, if you don’t have good communication skills, you will not be able to successful there. It is something you have all kinds of ammunition, but you don’t know how to fire them. Whatever knowledge you have, whatever skills you have, if you don’t know how to express yourself, you will not be able to use that knowledge or skills.

Here I will talk about two ways of communication – Written and Verbal.
There are few common things which applies in improvement for both. Like reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Reading
Read, Read, Read and Read. Read as much as possible. It will help you to expand your horizon, improve your knowledge of words, enrich your vocabulary and by reading others work you would learn a lot about writing. So reading is very much important if you want to write. The more you read, the better you write.
Writing
Writing will give you understanding of sentence structure. It is a way to express yourself. When you write, you practice expression, you would know what kind of words you should know to express something properly. Eventually it will help in improving your knowledge of language.
